drweinerRobert J. Weiner, VMD, ABVP

Dr. Weiner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. He is a second-generation veterinarian who became a Rockland County transplant from Wilmington, Delaware in 1981 when he joined County Animal Hospital. Dr. Weiner is diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners with certification in canine and feline medicine and surgery. He is a past president of the Westchester Rockland Veterinary Medical Association and has served 8+ years on the New York State Veterinary Medical Society Board of Directors.  Dr. Weiner and his wife Ronna (who is also a receptionist at County Animal Hospital) have 4 children, Marc, Dr. Eric (2015 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine), Lara (pharmacy student) and Scott who is in the animal science program at the University of Vermont. The Weiner's share there home with Dolce the Keeshond, Elle the Shetland Sheepdog and cats Rusty, Vinny and Tony.

Susan Rothstein DVM

Dr. Rothstein is a 2003 graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. Prior to veterinary school Dr. Rothstein obtained her Bachelors degree in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Rothstein lives locally with her dentist husband David, two daughters Eden and Maya and their Border Terrier, Joey.

Marsha Havrilla

Marsha is the bookkeeper and office manager at County Animal Hospital. She is our computer administrator extraordinaire and a proud Grandma. 

 Miriam Johnson

Miriam has worked at County Animal Hospital since Jimmy Carter was President. She was a retired as a veterinary technician and is responsible for maintaining the hospital inventory of medications and supplies. She is devoted to Junior, the diabetic cat, her children and  grandchildren. 

Jodi Sherman, LVT

Jodi is a licensed veterinary technician and has been in the veterinary field since 2001. Caring for animals is her passion. She has 4 grown children and, so far, 1 granddaughter. When she's not at work, she loves hiking with her dogs Gracie (a Labradoodle) and Jack (a Cockapoo).

 Alex O'Kane

Alex earned a B.S. in Animal Science from SUNY Cobelskill and is preparing for the Veterinary Technicians Licensing Exam. She loves her dogs Spud and Gia and her horse Freer.

Ellen Farmer

Ellen, a proud grandma, has been handling the front desk for more than thirty years. Ellen has a wonderful dog, Jack who often accompanies her at the desk.

Ellen Hoke

Ellen is responsible for keeping County Animal Hospital clean and sparkling. She has two cats at home, MaMa and Olivia.

Janet Wimbert

Janet is a long-time worker at County Animal Hospital, helping since 1986. She helps care for hospitalized and boarding pets and manages the inventory of prescription pet foods.  Janet loves birds and her two pet Chihuahuas, Paisley and Raven. 

Kennel Attendants

Adam Meister: Has worked at County Animal Hospital for about a year. He is particularly fond of dogs and has a nice gentle way with them. His family has Cady and MacKenzie both Golden Retrievers.
