The liver, gall bladder, kidneys, urinary bladder, uterus, prostate, stomach and intestines can be examined. In some patients the pancreas and adrenal glands can be seen as well as the major arteries and veins. Ultrasound can also be used to study other body parts such as eyes and testicles.
